 Our instructors offer a variety of yoga styles from Gentle to Vigorous

Inge Spencer 
Inge is a Certified Iyengar Yoga instructor.  She has studied yoga for over 30 years and trained with intermediate and senior Iyengar Yoga teachers since 1985 in classes, weekend workshops and during two International Iyengar Conferences, one of which featured Mr. Iyengar himself.  In summer of 2007, Inge had the priviledge of studying with Geeta and Prashant Iyengar (daughter and son of Mr. Iyengar) in India.   She has taught for over 25 years to persons of all ages and fitness levels at universities, hospitals, recreations centers, at national conferences, and in her studio.  Inge holds a B.S. degree in Therapeutic Recreation and has earned Reiki Level II.  Her dedication to yoga and compassionate approach to teaching help to make yoga accessible to everyone.

Stephanie Tames
Stephanie went to her first yoga class on the recommendation of a friend a few weeks after her son was born (he's now 22).  She's been practicing on-and-off in the intervening years, and is now a regular student of Inge's.   Stephanie is Yoga Alliance Certified at the 200 hour level, having successfully finished her 9-month teacher training in Spring 2010.   She is very sensitive to beginning yoga students and encourages them with her cheerful promptings.

Fred Richter 
Fred has been learning and practicing Iyengar Yoga with Inge for eight years.  He has attended numerous workshops with other yoga masters, and considers himself committedfor life to the practice of yoga.  He also teaches weekly classes for beginners at Trinity Episcopal Church and also practices with a faculty group at the local Charter Academy.   Fred's light-hearted approach to teaching includes thorough knowledge of Introductory Iyengar style poses.
